Zymar® (gatifloxacin) is an eye drop used for the treatment of bacterial conjunctivitis, or "pink eye." The medication is a fluoroquinolone antibiotic that works by interfering with two enzymes bacteria need in order to multiply.
 
This product is typically used four to eight times a day, for a total of seven days. Most people are able to use it without any problems, but side effects are possible, such as blurred vision, increased tearing, and eye redness.
