How Does Zymar Work?

Like other fluoroquinolones, Zymar kills certain bacteria that cause infections. It does this by interfering with bacterial enzymes called DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV. Bacteria need these enzymes to make DNA, which is essential for the bacteria to multiply.
