Zymar

gatifloxacin) is an eye drop approved for the treatment of conjunctivitis, which is more commonly known as "
pink eye." It is used four to eight times a day, with a typical treatment length of seven days.
The medication is available by prescription only and is currently not available in generic form, even though the first patent for the drug has already expired. The manufacturer of brand-name Zymar is Allergan, Inc.
