An overdose of pegaptanib is unlikely, since it is injected by your healthcare provider and an entire vial of pegaptanib contains just one dose.
 

What Should I Do If I Miss a Dose of Pegaptanib?

If you do not receive a pegaptanib injection as scheduled, contact your healthcare provider as soon as possible to schedule your injection.
 

Strengths of Pegaptanib

Each vial of pegaptanib contains 0.3 mg of the drug, just enough for one dose (for one eye).
 

Is There a Generic Version of Pegaptanib?

Currently, there are no generic versions of pegaptanib licensed for sale (see Generic Macugen).
