Ocuflox Side Effects

In clinical studies, the most commonly reported side effect of Ocuflox was a short-term burning or discomfort in the eye. However, most people are able to use these eye drops without any problems. If you develop any serious side effects while using this medication, such as severe eye redness or pain that gets worse, tell your healthcare provider right away.

An Introduction to Ocuflox Side Effects

Just like any medicine, Ocuflox® (ofloxacin ophthalmic solution) can cause side effects. However, not everyone who uses the medication will have problems. In fact, most people tolerate it quite well.

If side effects do occur, in most cases, they are minor and either require no treatment or are treated easily by you or your healthcare provider.

(This article covers many, but not all, of the possible side effects with Ocuflox. Your healthcare provider can discuss a more complete list with you.)

  • Eye stinging

  • Eye redness
  • Inflammation of the eye or surrounding area
  • Feeling like something is in the eye
