Eyes Home > Tafluprost Side Effects

Some of the most common side effects of tafluprost include eye redness, itching, and stinging. Fortunately, reactions to these eye drops tend to be mild and often do not require medical attention or can be treated easily. However, contact your healthcare provider immediately if you develop any signs of an allergic reaction, swelling of the macula of the eye, or inflammation that is becoming worse.

An Introduction to Side Effects of Tafluprost

Just like any medicine, tafluprost ophthalmic solution (Zioptan®) can cause side effects. However, not everyone who uses the drug will have problems. In fact, most people tolerate it quite well. If side effects do occur, in most cases, they are minor and either require no treatment or are treated easily by you or your healthcare provider.

(This article covers many, but not all, of the possible side effects with tafluprost. Your healthcare provider can discuss a more complete list with you.)
