Eyes Home > Moxeza Drug Interactions

Moxeza™ (moxifloxacin eye drops) is a prescription eye drop approved for treating "pink eye" (known medically as bacterial conjunctivitis). Significant drug interactions between Moxeza and other medications are unlikely to occur.

As with most eye drops, little of the medication actually reaches the bloodstream and the rest of the body. As a result, Moxeza is unlikely to affect other medications, and other medications are unlikely to affect Moxeza.

However, it is possible that there are currently unknown Moxeza drug interactions that are yet to be discovered. Therefore, make sure to check with your healthcare provider about any possible interactions that may apply to your particular situation.

If you have been prescribed more than one type of eye medication to be used at the same time, make sure to ask your healthcare provider if you need to space out the doses.
