What Is Levofloxacin Ophthalmic Solution?Levofloxacin ophthalmic solution (Iquix®, Quixin®) is a prescription antibiotic eye drop used to treat bacterial conjunctivitis infections of the eye and to treat corneal ulcers. It belongs to a group of medications called fluoroquinolones, or "quinolones" for short.
Are There Side Effects?Just like any medicine, levofloxacin ophthalmic solution may cause side effects. However, not everyone who uses the drug will experience problems. In fact, most people tolerate it quite well.
