Eyes Home > Drug Interactions With Latanoprost

NSAID Eye Drops
NSAID eye drops may make latanoprost less effective. Check with your healthcare provider before combining these medications.
Tafluprost and latanoprost are very similar medications (both are used to treat high eye pressure and glaucoma). Interestingly, using them together can make them less effective and may actually increase eye pressure. These medications should not be used together.
Any Other Eye Drops
Make sure to separate latanoprost and any other eye drop by at least five minutes. Taking them closer together could cause a precipitate (a solid material) to form.
