Betoptic is a prescription medication used for lowering eye pressure in people with high eye pressure or chronic open angle glaucoma. It comes in the form of an eye drop and is typically applied to the affected eye once daily in the morning. Beta blockers such as this product work to reduce eye pressure by decreasing the amount of fluid produced by the eye.
- This medication comes in the form of an eye drop. It is applied to the affected eye(s) once a day in the morning.
- Regular Betoptic solution does not need to be shaken. However, you must shake Betoptic S suspension well before each dose.
- For the medication to work properly, it must be taken as directed.
