Inflammation of the Eye Following LASIK

Severe inflammation of the eye has been reported sporadically and very infrequently following
LASIK. The treatments and outcome will vary, depending on the severity of the inflammation. Often, this inflammation can be treated with medication without any residual problems. However, additional surgery may be needed, and vision loss is always a possibility with severe inflammation.
