Closed Caption - Final Thoughts -- LASIK Complications

Depending on the individual situation, a major complication may require a repeat surgery or may lead to overall poor vision quality including an astigmatism, blurry vision, glare, halos, starbursts or double vision, or, in extreme cases, corneal transplant or permanent loss of vision.

It may be that in your doctor's practice, none of these complications have happened - or have occurred very rarely. However, it is important for you to know and understand the possible complications, so that you are fully informed before your procedure.
