Ketotifen fumarate ophthalmic solution (

Claritin® Eye) is an eye medication approved for treating itchy eyes due to eye
allergies (known medically as allergic conjunctivitis). It is available without a prescription.
Ketotifen is an eye drop, and little of the medication actually reaches the bloodstream (and, therefore, the rest of the body). As a result, significant drug interactions are not expected. This means that ketotifen is unlikely to affect other medications, and other medications are unlikely to affect ketotifen.
It is possible that there may be ketotifen drug interactions that are currently unknown but that may be discovered someday in the future. Therefore, it is always a good idea to include ketotifen in your list of medications when checking for any interactions. Also, be sure to check with your healthcare provider about any possible interactions that may apply to your particular situation.
