Bromday Eye Drop Information

Bromday® (bromfenac ophthalmic solution) is a medication that helps reduce eye pain and swelling caused by cataract surgery. It comes as an eye drop that is applied to the affected eye(s) once daily. The medicine is usually started 1 day before your surgery, and continued the day of the surgery and for 14 days after the surgery. Side effects are possible and may include eye burning, stinging, and redness.

Before prescribing Bromday eye drops, your healthcare provider will need information on your medical history and any other medications, vitamins, or supplements you are using. He or she will also ask if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, whether you have any allergies, or if you are using any other eye products.
