These complications include, but are not limited to:

· Severe infection

· Bleeding

· Swelling

· Inflammation

· Displacement of the implanted lens

· Detachment of the retina

· Perforation or a hole in the eye

· Damage to the cornea

· Reaction to medication or anesthesia

· Other rare or unlikely events.
