Blepharitis Treatment (Cont.)

Blepharitis Treatment: Summary

For most people, blepharitis is a chronic (long-lasting) condition. There currently is no cure for it. Fortunately, vision is not affected by this condition.

The goal of blepharitis treatment is to minimize blepharitis symptoms and their affect on a person's life. In most cases, the right blepharitis treatment will reduce symptoms. Blepharitis does tend to recur, however, and symptoms can change over time. Therefore, people with blepharitis should continue to work with their eye care professional to find the blepharitis treatment that works best for them.
