Alphagan P 0.15% Solution

If you have open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension, your healthcare provider may prescribe Alphagan® P (brimonidine tartrate). Available in 0.1% and 0.15% solutions, Alphagan P works by decreasing the amount of fluid produced by the eye and by increasing the rate of drainage. There is only one standard dosage amount for this eye drop -- one drop in the affected eye(s) three times a day.

This medication is not suitable for everyone. Before using Alphagan P, make sure your healthcare provider is aware of any other medical conditions you may have (including depression and heart disease) and any other medications you are taking (including nonprescription medicines and supplements).
